Weekend Wrap-Close to Home

Well it's Monday-AGAIN. Wish I could tell you all that my weekend was jam packed crazy with a bunch of fun to report but nope. It was chill. The kind of chill I really needed to get my house in order and study some, January is right around the corner.
I finally got to the Apple store to get my computer checked and Thank God nothing was wrong and they were able to replace my charger that broke off in the side for FREE! Made my day! I just knew I was going to spend $100. Then we has one of those "Whose kid is that" moments when Mr Chunks decided to do cartwheels in the middle of the store, smh.

We were supposed to go to the pumpkin patch but that never happened, there's always next weekend. Sunday night my brother and I headed back to the Barclays Center for the King's Men concert. Ever since it came to Brooklyn we've been there almost every weekend it seems but the concert was amazing. It was the Barclay Baptist Center Church of God in Christ Holy Sanctuary last night! The headliners were Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Israel Haughton, and Marvin Sapp with some star power backup singers including Sunday's Best winner Amber Bullock, and each showcased their hits but that little man Kirk Franklin! I don't know how he has the energy to do it every night! He had all the moves, left the stage, walked around the whole arena getting church started. He even had Salt from Salt and Pepper close the show out with his classic Stomp. We had a great time and now it's back to the regular program praying this energy stays with me this week.

Anything fun happen this weekend on your end?

Yay on getting the charger for free! I love unexpected blessings! I have heard great things about the tour, I think it's already come to Chicago otherwise I would have loved to go.

Sometimes chill weekends are the best. But you still managed to get a lot done. I had to smile when you said your son was doing cartwheels in the store. It was just one of those moments, but kids just do and say what they feel many times. Kirk Franklin has an amazing amount of energy. I know you had a good time at the Barclays. Sounds like a great weekend to me.

I am longing fora chill weekend and I see not one in sight. We did make it out to the pumpkin patch this weekend to celebrate my son's birthday.

I think the Apple store expects that. We've had MANY incidents :)
