Life With A 3 Year Old (so far)

Well we haven't been in the 3s for too long but I don't know if it's just me or what but I've noticed so pretty big changes in my little guy already. One major one is AFFECTION! I used to say he might not be my kid because he could care less for hugs and kisses, not even to appease his borderline thirsty mother lol. Now , I can get a hug WHENEVER I need one even during Super Why but not during Cars but hey I'm not complaining. The other morning while getting ready he sits on my bed and said "Ahh Mommy, you're a princess" *heart melt*!
I never did the baby talk babble thing with Chunks and he's now having real convos with me and others. I told his grandmother he really liked her hamburgers and he chimes is "Actually Mommy I like Mac and Cheese". WHAT?!? Lol
On that note: CHATTER! Oh My God I don't think I've heard Mommy Look! as much as I have in the past few weeks. From the minute he wakes up to the time he goes to bed the boy is NON-STOP. I try not to shut him down and get him to build his sentences but sometimes I'm just spent and need a minute, catch us in the 4s for that (with earplugs and a prayer lol).
His obsession with cars is now being shared with dinosaurs and Dino Dan so think loud stomping and shrieking in my house all hours of the night and Dino track sightings in the middle of the street.
Bedtime isn't a fight anymore, nap time is something else but hey, I'll take my wins. He gets quiet, goes to the potty, curls up and in seconds he's out. WIN!
So far it's been fun and a few blow ups every now and then but if we could hang out the way we are now when he's 16 I'll be in Heaven!
