Glossy Pages-Project Happily Ever After

I've said it before, Marriage Is Hard Work! One thing that helps is when you reach out and realize that you are not the only one going through it and blogging DEF introduces you to a world of amazing people who aren't scared to show their battle scars and pass their lessons on to the newbies.

My new Glossy Page is Alisa Bowman's Project: Happily Ever After. When she realized that planning her husband's funeral  and repast down to the appetizers and music selection was NOT the norm of a young marriage, Alisa decided to devout the energy to helping her marriage and went on a mission to getting things back on track. Everyone has their "Let Me Tell You What He Did" story but Alisa has a very unique story of her own so far:
*He spent their honeymoon money on a ski trip with his friends
*Once their daughter was born, he FINALLY got a job and spent all his time at work, with his workers, and planning for it.
*Their daughter was HER responsibility.
And yet, she stayed, she talked to friends, and tried to get advice on what to do and committed herself to working with her husband to getting things back to better and beyond. I'm excited about the direction of the book and to see where things are with their marriage. So far its a fun read but hits home on so many levels, already a must read for the married and those thinking about it.

Who or What helps you guys when you face a rough patch?
Any good reads lately? Did anyone read Life After Yes

Life After Yes was a really good read. Aidan is my home-girl! LOL!!! Project: Happily Ever After seems like a good read too and I think it'll help married folk get through tough times. Candice, you always have such good picks!

Sounds like a really good book. I think that having faith and my bff helps me to get through rough patches with my husband. Honestly, you need that one person you can talk to that will listen and you can trust to give you sound advice.
